As some of you know,there are a few of us who really LOVE shark movies quite a bit and you know who you are (why is the cheetah pointing his paw at me??) and explains why Captain Steve is the perfect on this episode of "8 Questions with......" His podcast celebrates all thing shark movies and we'll get into how he got into the shark movies and what makes a good (good as in really bad) shark movie.
We'll chat with Captain Steve about his podcast reaching 100 episodes and will he expand to other creature features in the future or just stick to great shark movies!!

Don’t breathe his directed by Fede Alvarez who you might know from directing the evil dead from 2013 but don’t breathe is a different type of movie it’s one that is relying on building that constant tension and dread throughout and really delivers on unpredictability with fantastic performances and gorgeous visuals
So it was an absolutely blast to talk about and be sure to watch right till the end so you can hear a first time horror movie memory that was sent over to me and Cpt. Steve Coates himself will give you a recommendation

In 1999, we got so many fun and adventurous movies that ranged from THE MUMMY, LAKE PLACID and THE MATRIX. We also got a movie from one of the special effects masters from JURASSIC PARK and the writer of ANACONDA called KOMODO, about giant Komodo Dragons wrecking havoc on a small remote island off the coast of the Carolinas. With some great visual and special effects, this movie seems to have been long forgotten. After the Deep Star Six debacle, Charlie employed Steve from the Bucket of Chum Podcast as the naughty-cal ringer and there was no way in hell was Nate going to blow bubbles at Leviathan without a net. Leviathan doesn't hide the fact that it's catfishing movies like Alien and The Thing and thankfully it's executed well enough to mount on your wall. While the film won't leave you gasping for air, it certainly lands in all the right places. It's nothing short of a great conversation even if Nate throws shade at Sigourney Weaver for the halibut.

Hell no they didn't, but if you're looking for a solid hour of badass 80’s action movie references and hilarious one-liners, we’ve got just the thing for you! 2018’s Commando Ninja! Practical effects, outrageous kills, and more action movie tropes than you can shake a power glove at make this one an instant classic! But remember, only a Commando Ninja can kill a Commando Ninja!
Bruno Mattei is an infamous Italian director who's catalogue is full of some of the most egregious movie rip-offs of all time and this week's film, Cruel Jaws (aka Jaws 5) is no exception. Thankfully the cast was able to recruit Captain Steve from Bucket of Chum podcast to help us navigate through the confusing disjointed plot lines. Nate abandoned ship almost immediately and took Anna with him while Charlie, Pete and Captain Steve recognized the awfulness of the film and settled in for a good damn time. Don't let Nate's poopy diapers discourage you, three out of five hosts can't be wrong. Can we? I do encourage you to go watch it if just to see the blatant copyright infringement the movie is guilty of.

It's our 2nd anniversary and just like last year, we're celebrating by revisiting one of our favorite movies from the very early days of the podcast. We didn't know what the hell we were doing back then (let's be honest, we barely know now), so we're going back to Orlando to fight the ninja! There were some technical difficulties, so Whitney bowed out of the episode to let our friend Steve from the Bucket of Chum podcast come back on with us and discuss something with NO SHARKS in it. An 80s pop-rock band made up of orphaned Tae Kwon Do experts have to stop a gang of bikers and ninjas (and ninja bikers) from selling cocaine on their streets, all of this is accompanied by a banger of a soundtrack and some atrocious acting. This is one of the worst movies of all time and we LOVE it!
